Young Gun Green Wins 2011 EPB Championship

Butte, MT: The 2011 Elite Professional Bull Riders Year End Championship Title came down to the last few rides this past Saturday at the Butte Civic Center. Miles Pennington had the lead going into the two day finals but was unable to post a score at the event in two attempts. It sure as heck wasn’t from a lack of effort either.

By Miles not making the whistle either night it allowed Garrett Green of Meeting Creek, AB the chance to move up in the points standings to first place. From what was said at the event it came down to the two being within about 100 points. Garrett and Miles rode well and won a whole bunch of money all year. Congratulations to you both.  However neither made the whistle on Saturday night in Butte.

Here is who did well.

Australian Luke Davidson took the early lead in the round with this 82.5 point ride:

Cody Moore won the Long Go of the Saturday Night Go Round:

Green had a chance to take the lead and win the finals event title as well with a score on this ride on the Two Bit Bull Buckin Fantasy:
