CALGARY, Alberta — It’s time to kick off the best and worst of 2014 here on Everything Cowboy.
In the number 10 spot on the wreck side of things are the honorable mentions that didn’t really make the countdown but all are sharing the final position.
Starting off today’s list is Reid Lozier taking flight from a bull called Blue Crush from Vold Rodeo at Bulls for Breakfast as part of the Big Valley Jamboree.
Billy West getting knocked out in Vermillion looked like it hurt pretty good.
Scott Schiffner got hit by Bucking Fantastic from the Two Bit Nation at the Manor Fun Daze PBR in July.
Also in July, Monty Phillips shows us what a hang up with Rosendo Ramirez looks like at the Kinsella Graveldome PBR.
Gerard Oversby took flight in June after a run in with Western from the Calgary Stampede at the Guitars & Wagons Weekend BRC in Grande Prairie, AB.
Mike Ostachek got flung around earlier that same June weekend by Wanderlust from the Girletz Rodeo Stock crew at the Wade Redden PBR Challenge in Hillmond, SK.
The final honorable mention of this entry goes to Justin Denis from the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Committee on his bowling wreck at Bob Tallman’s Charity Bowling Tournament just the other day at the Gold Coast in Las Vegas. There’s no footage here but it was a bowling wreck, I think it’s pretty tough not to add that in the countdown.
Stay tuned over the next two weeks for the complete countdown showing off the best and worst we’ve seen this year.
All the best,
