The Second Annual Marwayne PBR presented by Baker Hughes goes this Friday Night at the Marwayne Arena.
PBR Canada Bull Riding Action starts at 7:00pm with a beef on a bun supper starting things off at 5:00pm.
For only being in it’s second year, this event has made some great strides. If you haven’t got your tickets already, you had better soon.
Justin Volz is one of the event organizers. He organized last weekend’s bull pen in Fort St. John, BC as well. It’s sure to be a rank pen of bulls.
These are my thoughts on a few of the match-ups going in. As a note, I’m not adding any videos today to see if it helps speed things up on the site. Check out YouTube.com/wstovin for video on any of the bulls below.
Ty Elliot vs. CS 811 Red Hawk – Dave Poulsen hasn’t been too happy that there is a Calgary Stampede Bucking Bull named 868 Everything Cowboy. I’m thinking Raymond Goodman finally gave in to Dave’s complaints here. I guess we will have to have another match now Dave. From what Raymond told a couple weeks ago, this is a great bull on it’s way into the big leagues.
Poncho Limas vs. CS 894 Grey Water – Cody Moore rode this bull the first time I ever saw him for an 86, since then he’s been very consistent and in that range. Grey water has went both ways as far as I remember. I think Poncho has this one either way he goes.
Tyler Pankewitz vs. XTRM 715 Loaded – This little red horned bull was impressive over the past weekend in Fort St. John. 715 Loaded looks like there is a lot to him. Neither rider made it very far. I think Pank will go further on this one.
Brian Hervey vs. HOGS 90 Chances Are – Tyler Pankewitz rode this red and white paint horned bull to win in Tofield a couple weeks ago. The bull stepped out and went back to the left, that was a bad move on his part as Pank had him all day. With how much Brian likes to spur, that might happen here.
Chris Hansen vs. HOGS 58 Back on Track – If this number is familiar to you, it should be. Number 58, Back on Track used to be known as Whipper Snapper, a rider and crowd favourite. After healing up for the past year and a half, this bull makes his return. Chris should be pumped for this one. I’m sure looking forward to seeing the little muley back in business.
Buffer Zone vs. WVR 803 Uncle Buck – If you haven’t entered yet and you were thinking you wanted to, you had better call up that office for a chance at Uncle Buck. It’s almost like cheating. I’ve heard it said before though if you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying. Might as well take advantage of this opportunity here.
