Rapid City, SD: I caught a ride down here with Miles Pennington and Kyle Loudon. I’m on my way to Oklahoma City, OK for a few days. Miles, along with Tanner Byrne and Devon Mezei are all up here at the Xtreme Bulls tonight. The PRCA Rodeo here in Rapid City starts tomorrow afternoon.

After travelling down to Butte, MT with Tanner Girletz last weekend we got to talking about some of his writing he’s done. We figured he would send a few my way to share with everyone. So here’s the first one.
It’s called “We’ve Been Driving” Tanner said he wrote it one day he was driving with Max Fortmuller.
We’ve been driving for such a long time,
I’m dirty tired but I don’t mean to wine,
I like this life, doing what I love,
Hangin’ on tight with a rope and a glove,
Going down the road, it ain’t that bad,
It’s when I fall off I get real mad,
The glory of the ride, the hate of the fall,
Just going down the road, hitting em all,
It’s one of the deals, just my life,
It’s a brand new buckle shinny like a knife,
I’ll do it till I die or I can’t go no more,
It’s the best life to have, it’s what I live for,
