Thurston Wins Adrian Foote Sr. Memorial at 4 Bears Casino

New Town, ND: Big Valley, Alberta’s Zeke Thurston, currently residing in Sheridan, Wyoming won tonight’s Adrian Foote Sr. Memorial Bronc Riding at the 4 Bears Casino. This event was held in conjunction with the World Class Bucking Horse Association out of Montana.

Thurston is going to school right now at Sheridan College, he picked up over $2,300 in prize money, along with a trophy saddle, buckle and jacket.

Zeke rode a Mosbrucker Horse by the name of Moon Feathers and scored 81 to win.

Top Bareback Horses of the evening.

Prime Time Rodeo’s 838 Mucho Dinero scores an 89. This horse is owned by Jim Lawrence and was part of Frank Wyzykoski’s team which finished fourth. Weston Garrett was scored 88 points on his ride portion of this matchup. That won the Bareback side of the competition for a check of over $1,200. Weston is the son of four-time World Champion Bareback Rider Marvin Garrett.

 

Powder River’s 8245 scores 88.5 to finish second on the day and take their team to a second place and nearly $3,000 team finish.

 

As this was a team event consisting of three broncs and one bareback horse these are the World Class Bucking Horse Association Results.

Tonight in the final night of western events at the 4 Bears Casino the Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division visits. 45 of the top bull riders along with even more top bulls face off tonight.

C’N Stars’ 73 Buck Wild highlights the Championship Round. Bull riding gets underway tonight at 7:00pm from the 4 Bears Casino Event Center.
