PBR Canadian Cup Series 2012 Stop #1: Ottawa, ON. Our Nation’s Capital

Ottawa, ON: About 8 of us all arrived here last night on a WestJet flight directly from Calgary. All very excited at what the 2012 Season PBR Canadian Cup Season will bring.

For those of you in the area, the bull riding starts tonight at 7:30 pm and you can come meet us all at the VIP Corral Party right in the dirt at 5:00 pm. You can get tickets at the door or check out Ticketmaster still.

I’m travelling here with Skyler McBride an Devon Mezei. It’s looking like we will all be seeing more form them in 2012. Devon and Skyler asked me about doing a blog sort of column last year from when they are on the road. They do a lot of travelling together to many different cities and towns across North America.

Today we had some time to see some of the sites and attractions of Ottawa but were unfortunately unable to not get into the Parliament Buildings due to protests taking place today. It was a bit cold but here we are earlier this afternoon:

That’s all here from Ottawa so far this afternoon though. Check back here tomorrow for video highlights from tonight’s action.

Here’s a story about Ty Pozzobon’s performance this past weekend in New York City as well. Check out a record number of Canadians once again on the Built Ford Tough Series this weekend in Anaheim, CA.

So close!

I was at the Scotiabank Place for the PBR on Saturday and was wondering if Kim Forbes was alright after his unfortunate accident?

    Please let PBR fans know.

    thank you,

    1. Hey Colette,

We apologize for not getting back to you sooner as we had to wait to hear from the PBR Canada Office for it to be official. Kim suffered a concussion that night. He is now at home though and doing OK!
