Seattle, WA: I’m staying tonight at the Hyatt at Olive 8 in Downtown Seattle. I’ve never been here before. Well, I’ve driven through on I-5 but I’ve never really seen this place. I spent the week at a course called “21st Century Leadership” a little south of here in Federal Way. I learned a ton and I am already implementing the strategies to take this site to the next level. If you’d like to learn more about the course, check out http://extraordinarylearning.com
Tomorrow I’m checking out the city then I fly back to Calgary in the afternoon. I am looking forward to seeing more of this place. On the drive in I thought it looked very new, clean, classy, environmentally friendly and high tech. Some of the same traits I associate with technology and the companies that make their headquarters here like Starbucks, Microsoft, Amazon and Boeing. Remember, those traits are in my opinion.
I’m writing my next Stock Talk article for the Canadian Pro Rodeo News tomorrow too. If you aren’t already subscribed, you ought to be! I think CPRN is a great magazine. I think Barb and Dave Poulsen are doing a great job of it!
I’m not sure if I mentioned it or not yet but I have an article coming out this month in the Rodeo Connection about the Ultimate Cowboy. Thanks to Heather Crowe-Duthie for asking me to write that one!
On another note, I’m writing monthly PBR Canada Profiles for Horses All. I am really enjoying writing them. I hope you are enjoying reading them!
This week I’ll be in Calgary taking charge. Expect a “What’s That Bull” Article on the Canadian EPB Finals along with video highlights and interviews from their event this Saturday Night in Brooks, AB!! I am looking forward to my first event of the year for Everything Cowboy!
That next morning I fly down to Orlando, FL for the National Sports Forum. I attended the NSF last year in Oklahoma City, OK. I thought I made some great connections there. I am looking forward to being there and absorbing all I can once again!
I’m not sure what I am doing in those weeks in between, but I’ll personally be in Kalispell, MT on Feb 15th and 16th for the PBR Touring Pro Division Event there thanks to Shane Gunderson of C’N Stars and Josh & Tammy Berezay of Two Bit Bucking Bulls for inviting me. I also have a crew member yet to be determined that is keeping us all up to date video and interview wise from Vermillion, AB and the PBR Canada “Buck the Cold” Touring Pro Event put together by the Lakeland College Rodeo Team.
I am looking forward to the next month! I hope you are too!
Thanks for stopping by,
Ted Stovin
