My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Here is a video from Willie Nelson signing his song “My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys.” How many of you is this the same for?
I could list some of my heroes as John Wayne and Baxter Black. But I think the most influential cowboy and hero in my life would have to be my Dad.

Hi Ted: I love your site. There’s an annual Cowboy Festival in Kamloops, B.C. sponsored by the Cowboy Heritage society. It’s a wonderful festival, known all over North America, with music, poetry, workshops – everything that celebrates and promotes Cowboy culture. This year it runs March 10-13. I’ve volunteered for several years and love it.

    1. Hi Vicki, Thanks fr the comment. I would like to go to Kamloops for that I think it would be great but I’m in school here in Vegas until May so unfortunately I won’t be able to make it this year. Will you be going? If so, I think it would be great to hear some more about it when it happens. Please let me know I would really appreciate it!
