Lambert Wins Again, Fortmuller Finishes Second and is Coming Back Strong

Rimbey, AB: Zane Lambert struck again at last night’s Rimbey Hooves and Horns Bull-A-Rama. Lambert won the event and picked up $1,800. In second place was Max Fortmuller only just over a month into his comeback after putting together a couple great rides last night at the Rimbey Arena.

Mark VanTienhoven and his crew put together yet another great event which is now in it’s seventh year and sure to be a success again in 2014. A huge thank you goes out to everyone for making it happen.

In the short go, Zane made the first ever qualified ride on Sawyer’s Remington Country.

Zane won the long go with this 85 point effort on Meston’s Rooster Cogburn.

Max Fortmuller took his re-ride option and sure capitalized on it by riding Sawyer’s Moves Like Jagger for an 85 to finish in second place.

In the long go, Max rode another Sawyer Bull, this one by the name of Harrison Flats.

Jesse Torkelson had just enough to get himself back to the short go where he made a great ride on Vold’s Panic Switch. Tork’s 87 would be the highest score in the short go.

Jesse’s little brother, Colt, stayed on his bull, Insane Anger, but didn’t get enough points to get back to the short go.

Shane Peters is only 16 years old and from Delburne, AB. He made a great ride on the not so easy to ride Pen Pal of Ellie Skori’s to put two scores together and finish in fourth.

In the long go, Shane made an impressive ride on a newer Vold Bull called Shady Corners.

The biggest effort of the night goes to Chase Thielen on Sawyer’s 899 Gretzky. This bull was impressive when we saw him about a month ago. Chase is one to watch in 2013.

Another highlight on the night had to be the bull poker. Usually a bull wouldn’t get to business quite this fast. Talk about efficient.

That’s all from the 2013 Hooves and Horns Bull-A-Rama in Rimbey, AB!

Thanks for stopping by.
