Katy Lucas & Ted Stovin Please Vote for us to be the 2012 Calgary Stampede’s Ultimate Interns

Calgary, AB: Katy Lucas and I are in the running to be the 2012 Calgary Stampede Ultimate Interns.

We need your votes! Follow this link to vote:

You can vote once each day every day until May 22nd.

Here’s our one minute video for the competition that tells you why you should vote for us.

With both of our backgrounds we feel that we have the best experience to do the best job possible for the Calgary Stampede.

Katy has already started writing for you all to enjoy here on Everything Cowboy. She’s the daughter of 24 time Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR), 4 Time Canadian Champion and many time National Finals Rodeo (NFR) Tie Down Roper Smokin’ Joe Lucas. She’s the one who put together our entire video editing wise. How great of a job did she do? I think it’s the best video of the entire contest. Her brother Kyle Lucas also won his first CPRA Rodeo this weekend in Stavely, AB. She’s also a journalism student at the University of Lethbridge.

In the video I mention that I took an entire class about the Calgary Stampede this past semester at school. What I didn’t have time to mention was that I got an A. I was also chosen to represent the class with our Professor Max Foran in the University of Calgary Viewbook for 2012-2013. I also was asked by Max to speak to our classmates about rodeo. It was a great experience! For anyone doing this job I think this class should be a necessity.

What a better team than us to win this contest??
