FORT WORTH, Texas  — Trygve Pugh was the high money winner from our nation at the Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo which wrapped up on Saturday Night. Pugh, was 3.9 to split third in the second round for the $3,559 payday.

Closest to him in winnings from Canada was bareback rider Orin Larsen who pocketed $3,414 total, including the rounds, finishing fifth in the aggregate. Larsen has done some winning in San Antonio too and has already qualified for the semifinals over there. Orin’s brother, Tyrel finished eighth in the saddle bronc for $1,663 in winnings.

Fellow bareback rider Jake Vold cashed in for $2,336 in Fort Worth while team ropers Clay Ullery and Kyle Lucas picked up $673 each in a round.

Lamb continues hot streak in Jackson, Mississippi. 

Bareback rider Kody Lamb currently leads the $214,000 Dixie National Rodeo after his 86 point ride on Korkow Rodeos’ Inky. With the rodeo ending up this Wednesday, the 12th of February, it would be the biggest win to date for the young Sherwood Park, AB cowboy currently leading the rookie of the year standings.

With round one in the timed events already down, Cody Cassidy and Straws Milan both have checks coming from Jackson themselves. Cassidy stopped the clock in a 3.9 for $1,534 and Milan was one tick behind for $857.
