Cloverdale, BC: Matt Lait won Round One of Pool A here in Cloverdale on the Kesler’s Superstar bucking horse and last year’s Bareback Horse of the Canadian Finals Rodeo, Street Dance with an 88.5 point score to pick up a $2,700 check. Dusty Lavalley and Brian Bain split second with matching 86’s.
Troy Crowser of Whitewood, SD won the Saddle Bronc with an 86 on 817 Crash Gate. Sam Kelts was second with an 83.5 for $1,400.
Two Time World Champion Lindsay Sears took the Barrel Racing with a 15.23 second time. Sydni Blanchard was a close second at 15.31.
In the Bull Riding in was Skyler McBride on Kyle Style with a solid 86.5 point score. There were a number of qualified rides last night. In fact eight of a possible twelve.
Round Two of Pool A goes this afternoon starting at 2:00pm. Round One of Pool B starts tonight at 7:30pm.
