In the past few hours since posting this earlier this morning, the Calgary Stampede’s Infield has now been flooded.

This video shows some of the extent of the damage downtown. I’ve never seen anything like this before.

Canmore looks like it’s been hit the worst.
As of around 11:00am this morning the Sundre Pro Rodeo was been cancelled. Travel in and out is not advised. No new dates for the rodeo have been announced at this time.

We are in Wainwright right now. I packed everything up and hit the road for eleven days to work for Ram Rodeo at the Wainwright and Ponoka Stampede’s. I didn’t even know about the trouble until I was half way here.
Our house is in the North West in North Haven and up on the hill. We have space there for anyone that needs a place to stay or anything. Please let me know at 780-542-1638
As the other rodeos this weekend, High River has been cancelled as their whole town is pretty much under water. We are wet in Wainwright but it’s nothing compared to the south. Paradise Valley, Grande Prairie and Langham’s Bull Ridings are still a go.
From what I’ve heard, Highway Two is closed in spots. Same with the Trans-Canada. Travel if you’re going anywhere is going to be tough and likely very slow.
If you have anything you want to send in or let us know or anyone else know, please send them to Ted@Everything-Cowboy.com
I’m glad to help in any way possible.
All the best to everyone out there at this time.
