STAVELY, Alberta — Friday night some of the best bucking bull breeders gathered in Stavely for the annual Glen Keeley Memorial Last Chance Bucking Bull Futurity.
The night started off with a Calcutta at the Stavely hotel where each bull team was auctioned off. The Calcutta brought in over $10,000 which meant a big pay day for the purchaser of the winning bull team.
Here are the Highlights from last night futurity.
Taking top bull honors was #292 of the Young Money Cattle co. with a big score of 85.625 points.
Coming in second was Ty Pozzobon’s #201 with a score of 85 points.
Jay Nelson’s #201 had a solid out with a score of 84.75 points taking home third
Flying High Bucking Bulls sent two quality teams of bulls the best of which was #208 which took home 4th with a score of 84 points.
Flying High came in again at 5th place with this cool little bull #220 with a core of 83.875 points
Rounding out the Top 6 was Tyler Thomson’s #245 with 83.125 point effort.

The Calcutta winner was Nate Gardiner with his purchase of the top bull team coming from the Flying High/Daniels team. They had a two bull total score of 166.5 points winning Nate $8,680.00. Needless to say Nate was the most popular guy in the beer gardens last night!
