#1 – Scott Byrne Retires

31 December 2015

By Ted Stovin

This has probably been a pretty predictable countdown but there’s no one else that should top this than the one and only Scott Byrne in his final season as a bullfighter.

Byrne is the most prolific bullfighter ever in Canadian Rodeo history as far as most are concerned. Personally I’ve got to say he’s one of, if not the best guys I know. I’m proud to call him a friend.

Scott, your retirement is easily the top of this list and any other I ever create. I don’t see it being long before you’re in the hall of fame.

Matt Merritt did a fantastic interview with Scott at his final event ever. Be sure to watch that if you already haven’t by clicking or tapping this highlighted text.

Here’s a look at that final intro from Saskatoon.
