Bareback: Riley Gilbertson leads with 160 championship points. Kody Lamb is second with 95 and Cole Goodine is third with 90. A person is awarded 60 points per round win going down ten points per place down to fourth. Average points are also awarded.

Tie Down Roping: Shawn Miller leads with 110 points and Shawn Miller is not far back with 70 points.

Junior Bull Riding: Probably one of the closest races. Lonnie West is only five points ahead of Austin Nash with 105 points. Bryan Symington is only five points back from Austin with 100 points. This one will be exciting. All six of them stayed on last night too. It was great to see. Especially since all of the open bull riders were unable to make the whistle.

Breakaway Roping: Quentin Branden leads with 120 points coming from times of 1.4 and 2.4 seconds. Four contestants are very close with 90 points.

Junior Steer Riding: Hometown Cowboy and Junior High Point season leader Kagen Schmidt leads with 150 points thus far. Bryce West is second with 130 points and Cylas Bigchild sits third with 120 points.

Steer Wrestling: Scott Guenthner leads with 135 championship points. Jerry Stojan sits second with 110 points after a round win last night with a 3.8 second time.

Novice Horse Riding: Bradford Trenerry won the LRA Finals in the Novice. For those of you who don’t know Bradford, he looks very similar to Bronc Rider Jeremy Tennant. Bradford leads it with 180 points after three rounds. Clay Madson is second 40 points back and Joel Rangen is another 20 points behind him with 120.

Ladies Barrel Racing: Sonda Marks, Junior Bull Rider Shay, and Open Bull Rider Kale Mark’s Mother leads the Barrel Racing with 170 points. Rene LeClerq sits second with 140.

Junior Barrel Racing: With three round wins and 180 points, Dakota McIvor leads the Junior Barrel Racing 30 points ahead of second place Valerie Frey.

Peewee Barrel Racing: With another three round wins and 180 points, Macy Auclair leads the Peewee Barrel Racing. Kali-Rae Beebe and Tori Graham sit in a tie for second at 120 points.

Saddle Bronc Riding: Mark O’Dempsey leads with 160 points. Steed Cline is only a third place finish away from being first with 140 points. College Bronc Rider and CFR Qualifier Layton Green sits third with 110 points.

Team Roping: All Around Cowboy Murdock Keith and his heeler, Kody Potts lead the Team Roping as they did all year after two round wins and 160 points thus far. They are ahead of Vince and Mark Flynn by 40 points going into round four tonight.

Bull Riding: It’s a pretty open race to the championship in the bull riding right now. Curtis Neufeld of Tofield, AB leads after a round win today with a 78.75 point score and 90 points overall. Billy West is second after winning the first round with a 78.5. Just about anyone has a shot to win still. My money is on Curtis though either way!

Best of luck to everyone in the final two performances of the 2012 WRA Season!
