There hasn’t been any action in the CPRA since Camrose, AB about a month ago now. But this weekend that will change in Medicine Hat, AB at the Medicine Hat Spring Rodeo.
I glanced over the draw in most of the events and didn’t know what to think about anything else besides the bull riding. So here are my thoughts:
- There are some new names this season with the younger bull riders making the step this year to the CPRA
- The Scisson’s are now taking bulls to this Kesler Rodeo. I’m not sure when that happened but I like the change
- I bet that Miles Pennington does well on the bull he drew from the Scissons by the name of Whisky Wisdom. I tried him up in Wanham, AB last summer and didn’t make it far. He was marked a 44.5 out of 50 but I saw someone else ride him a while back so my money is on Miles.
- Another bet I would make is that Tyler Pankewitz gets a score on Night Prowler.
Good luck to all the contestants in all of the events at this weekends rodeo in Medicine at though. Click here for the complete draw in Medicine Hat:

Dawson Creek was awesome last year! It was my first year announcing the event and the new Encana Center rocks! Looking forward to returning and seeing all the good people up there . It has been a long winter and I’m sure the place will be packed !
Thanks Tyson!
I wish I could come this year. Next year I will have to instead. Where are you headed after Dawson?
