EnCana Events Centre to host CPRA Bull Riders Friday Night

The EnCana Events Centre in Dawson Creek, will be hosting the 12th Annual Spring Break-up Party and Dance next Saturday, April 23rd.

Venue doors will open at 5:00PM, the bulls start at 7:00PM and the dance will begin at 10:00PM.

As the third stop on the Canadian Professional Rodeo Associations circuit for this season, one bull rider will be awarded the title at this event. All riders are competing for money and points that will go towards their chances to qualify for the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton this November.

Event organizer Kimeal Cooke said “This is a terrific event to take the entire family to over the Easter weekend. Along with the 11-14 year old steer riders and professional bull riders, including six Canadian Professional Rodeo Association Champions; we will be entertained by the top funny guy in professional rodeo, Dennis Halsted.”

The 12th Annual Spring Break-up Party will see thirty professional bull riders, including Cole Collins from Fort St. John. The event will also host the baby bull riders in the steer riding competition.

Canadian Rodeo Association Champions Tyler Thompson, Scott Schiffner, Jess Torkelson, Jody Turner, Tanner Girletz and Steven Turner will also be joined by Australian Champion Kyle Louden.
