Through the lens: A night at Rodeo Houston

We are well past the half way mark of RodeoHouston 2017, with Round 2 of Super Series IV taking place on Friday night. Everything Cowboy photographer Steph Coombes was on site to capture the action.

Adam Gray took home a $1000 check for 3rd place in the tie-down roping with a time of 10.1.

Corey Petska and Erich Rogers took home their second check in as many days with a 6.4 second catch for 4th place and $1500.

Cort Scheer was flying high after an 88 on Calgart Stampede’s U-38 Urgent Delivery won him the round.

Jesse Wright took on Bailey Pro Rodeo’s 19 Full Throttle for 85 and 2nd place.

Bailey Pro Rodeo’s 007 James Bond stretches out to help Jesse Kruse earn a check with a score of 83.

Luke Branquinho (pictured) split the round win with Tyler Waguespack at 4.3 seconds.

Amber Moore turns the first barrel with style, but missed out on a check Friday evening.

Ivy Conrado ran her barrels tight and clean to take the round win with a time of 14.18 seconds.

Bayle Worden was the only cowboy of 8 to make the 8 on Friday evening, covering Diamond S&4L’s R402 Redneck for 84 points and a $3000 check.
