Matt Lait is on a roll in San Antonio. After three rounds and one semi-final round, he’s racked up $6,386 in prize money. That’s more than enough to get him into Saturday’s Finals.
That six grand is sure going to help out his 2013 campaign too since it’s only February. It’ll probably put him within the top 15 in the PRCA’s World Standings. There’s still another $1,965 check up for first place in the round tomorrow too.
Pouce Coupe, BC’s Clayton Moore has already qualified for the San Antonio Finals along with Team Roper Levi Simpson.
Sam Kelts and Ty Taypotat finished out of the money tonight. Once the official standings come out we will know what their chances are of getting into the finals.
Two Time World Champion Lindsay Sears leads her pool now after a round win. She’s got the exact same amount won as Matt Lait.
Thanks to the roving reporter Tim Edge for letting me know Murray Pole is in the mix too in the Tie Down Roping. He’s got $2,701 won and needs to move up one spot to get into the finals on Saturday. It’ll all come down to tomorrow for Taypotat, Kelts and Pole.
