CALGARY, Alberta — While eleven Canadians have already qualified for the Rodeo Houston semifinals, the same number sit inside the top 15 inside the PRCA’s World Standings.

Having moved on already in Houston are: Orin Larsen, Matt Lait, Ty Taypotat, Levi Simpson, Jeremy Buhler, Roland McFadden, Tyrel Flewelling, Tanner Milan, Ty Pozzobon, Jared Parsonage and Dakota Buttar.

Currently ranked top 15 in the PRCA are: Orin Larsen, Ty Taypotat, Kyle Bowers, Kolton Schmidt, Levi Simpson, Jeremy Buhler, Clayton Moore, Jake Watson, Clay Elliott, Tyrel Larsen and Layton Green.

Only four overlap both lists. Those being, Orin Larsen, Taypotat, Simpson and Buhler.

Jake Vold, Colin Adams and Luke Creasy are 16th, 17th and 18th in the bareback within $1,000 of 15th while Kyle Lucas has quietly moved into 17th in the tie-down. Kody Lamb, Sam Kelts, Adam Jamison (NZ) and Tanner Milan all rank inside the top 30.

This past weekend, Creasy was the high money winner of our contestants bringing in $3,054 from a second place finish in Arcadia, FL and a split of last hole in Queen Creek, AZ. Clay Elliott was next best for a tie of fourth in Arcadia worth $1,244.

Kyle Lucas earned $2,313 for winning Fort Mohave, AZ in the calves. Ty Pozzobon brings home $1,742 for third in the bulls and Layton Green picked up $1,654 for a tie of second in the bronc riding. World number three Jake Watson had a $1,136 weekend thanks to a fourth place finish in Fort Mohave and a tie for third in Queen Creek.

Other contestants placing on the second weekend in March in PRCA competition were: Jeremy Harden, $1,842 for second in Fort Mohave; Colin Adams, $992 for second in Valley City, ND;Clay Ullery, $925 for second in the Queen Creek team roping with Ryon Tittel; Bailey Plaisier’s first Pro Rodeo check came in Marshall, TX for $603 even on a Canadian Horse, Wilson Sanchez raised by Darcy Hollingsworth; Keenan Reinhardt, $508 from Marshall;Murray Pole, $201 from Fort Mohave; Connor Hamilton with the same amount, $201 from Marshall; barrel racers, Cranna Roberts ($971), Julie Leggett ($526) and Kirsty White ($54) all placed in Fort Mohave. Mike Solberg also may have got back his entry fees for a $55 split of fourth in Queen Creek.

Zeke Thurston looks to have dropped his ownership in the ERA having placed in Fort Mohave for $372.
