The Tanner Show – Lloydminster, SK PBR Canada

Lloydminster, SK: First of all I have to thank Jesse Torkelson for the name of this piece. And I also have to thank his younger brother Colt for getting all these videos last night on my camera during the event. It was great to travel to Lloydminster with them both!

Tanner Girletz has had one of the best months a bull rider anywhere could have. Since the September Long Weekend Tanner has won:

• The Glen Keeley Memorial PBR in Stavely, AB
• 2nd Place at the Canadian Rodeo Tour Finals which gets him an automatic invite to the 2012 Calgary Stampede
• The bull riding at the Hanna Pro Rodeo
• The All Around “Wilf Girletz Memorial Award” at the Hanna Pro Rodeo
• A 2011 Dodge Avenger from the Oyen/Hanna Car Series!
• ……And now after last night, The 2011 Lloydminster PBR Challenge Presented by Sasktel

When asked about his last month Tanner put it this way:

“In the words of Doc Holiday: “Wyatt I am rolling!””

Continuing on with the Tanner Show was Tanner Byrne of Prince Albert, SK. Tanner made an 83 point ride in the long go and then spurred his way to an 88 in the short go with his ride shown below.

Changing up the Tanner trend was Dusty Ephrom who changed it up well winning both 3rd and 4th place by entering the event twice and capitalizing on it.

Brett Gardiner and Doug Young called last night’s action to a full house in Lloydminster and kept them on the edge of their seats the entire way! Check out the videos below to hear them call the action as it happened.
