Nebraska Leads Rocky Mountain Extreme PBR After Night One

KALISPELL, Montana — Bart Miller of Oshkosh, Nebraska leads the Rocky Mountain Extreme PBR Touring Pro Division event after night one of competition. A score of 82.5 to start things off in the long go on Arrow K’s Stinger and an 86 on Two Bit’s Devil’s Wing to start off the Championship Round put him quietly in the lead after one night of competition.

Brad Narducci of Seven Pistol Sound and announcer Jeff Marn rocked the full house on a Friday Night, which was known as “Kid’s Night.” Their encouragement and more so the crowd’s saw a ton of qualified rides however only two in the finals. Already counting Miller’s, 2007 PBR Canadian Champion Tyler Pankewitz was the only man to cover both bulls on night one.

Pankewitz scored 84.5 in the long go on a re-ride bull and hung on for another score in the finals to sit with 156 points on two.

In third on the night was a man we caught up with in our recap, it was Zac Peterson of Velva, North Dakota who is coming back from Tommy John’s surgery as he stated in this video.

He’s healing well and this ride on 5 Star’s Pucker Up will likely make him feel a big better too. 88 points leaves him third thus far.

Peterson’s travelling partner and fellow PBR World Finalist of North Dakota, Stetson Lawrence, put up the fourth best score of the night at 87 on C’N Stars’ Mr. Meanor.

Rounding out the top five was yet another NoDak cowboy in Tate Smith with this 85.5 on C’N Stars’ 50 Shades of Grey.

C’N Stars’ superstar World Finalist, 73 Buck Wild stood out as the top bull on the night.

The finale of the Rocky Mountain Extreme PBR starts at 7:30pm tomorrow night, Saturday February 15th at the Majextic Valley Arena. Doors open at 6:30pm.
