South Dakota Leads Williston After Night One

WILLISTON, North Dakota — John Jacobs of South Dakota is on top of the C’N Stars Invitational leaderboard after night one. Scores of 85.5 and 87 were enough to be ahead of Montana’s Matt Triplett.

Here’s Billy Don Cash and D Jayden with the call.

In the first round, John rode Arrrow K’s Stinger to an 87 point score.

Early in round two, Jacobs stuck an 85.5 on C’N Stars Corkey

Matt Triplett was 87 on Arrow K’s White Lightning in round one.

A wild ride on Mosbruckers’ Poker Face was enough to hold Triplett in second spot thus far.

Matt and I caught up after the event as he’s only a few spots away from the Built Ford Tough Series.

An 88.5 on Arrow K’s Pilgrim Slinger added to his efforts on his fight back to the tour.

Ty Tescher sits fourth thus far overall after an 87.5 on Two Bit’s Devil’s Wing.

Rounding out the top five is Taryl Smith with his 86 on Arrow K’s Rossette Redneck.
