Jacobs Wins in Williston

WILLISTON, North Dakota — South Dakota Bull Rider John Jacobs won tonight and last night’s C’N Stars Invitational at the Raymond Family Community Center in Williston, ND with a total score of 172.5 points on two bulls.

John and I caught up after the event to talk about the win.

In second place were Matt Triplett and Tanner Byrne.

Due to his 87 in Round One, Triplett won a bit extra money to take his total to $2,127 for this spot.

Tanner Byrne added to his 2013 PBR Canada total with another $1,947 tonight with scores of 84 and 85.5.

In fourth on the weekend was Matt Triplett on another entry with a total score of 160 on two. An 89 tonight highlighted his weekend.

Rounding out the top five was Matt Triplett once again with his 88.5 from last night on Pilgrim Slinger bringing his total to nearly $5,000 in Williston.

We witnessed quite the wreck on Saturday after Clint Johnson rode his bull to an 86 point score.
