Brazil on Top of Big Apple

NEW YORK, New York — After two rounds of competition, Fabiano Vieira of Brazil leads the PBR’s Built Ford Tough Series Event from Madison Square Garden. 87.75 on Speckled was marked down as another round win for the cowboy. He’s already won nearly $6,000 in the first two days of the season and could make it nearly $40,000 with a win in Sunday’s Championship Round.

In second at the event is J.B. Mauney after an 85.5 today on Past Time. The third spot is held by a man coming back from injury, Robson Palermo.

7.05 seconds wasn’t quite 8 today for Ty Pozzobon, he’s got the top score on one bull but that’s only good enough for 8th place after two rounds. He’s going to need another score to make tomorrow’s finals. The bull he has tomorrow threw Jory Markiss to the ground in today’s round putting up 42.5 points out of a possible 50.

1:00pm EST is when round three gets underway from MSG in NYC. Check out PBR.com for the conclusion of the first event of 2014.
