Kalispell, MT: Hometown Bull Rider Matt Triplett leads the Rocky Mountain Extreme PBR after night one action with 166.5 on two. He sits three points ahead of himself since he re-entered and rode all four of his bulls.
These are the evening’s highlights. As a note, all of the money is paid on over both days as one bull riding. Anyone could win first or second as they are basically entered anywhere from one to four times.
A guy could enter that many times and win too with how even and good the pen of bulls was.
Pancho Limas started things off on Prescott and Vold’s 769 In The Club.
Wreck of the Night went to one of the bullfighters getting chased by Vold’s 818 Captain after Tyler Johnston came down early.
Kritter Lamb made a decent ride with and 84.5 on Two Bit’s new one 761 Doom & Gloom.
Brandon Wallentine got a solid 83 on C’N Stars 823 Grey Ghost.
Matt Triplett turned in a 79.5 on C’N Stars 535 Grey Smoke.
Long Go: 1. Kritter Lamb, 85 on Two Bit Bucking Bulls’ 761 Doom & Bloom; 2. Brandon Wallentine, 83; 3. Zac Peterson, 82; 4. (tie) Matt Triplett and Ryan Prophet, 79.5; 6. Taylor Cowan 76.5; 7. Matt Triplett, 75.5. No other qualified rides.
After another qualified ride in the Long Go for Matt Triplett, he would be the high seller by far in the calcutta. Whoever bought him got their money’s worth too.
After a couple others came down early, Triplett took the overall lead with a big 88 on Arrow K’s 709 Sodbuster.
C’N Stars superstar PBR World Finals Qualifier 73 Buck Wild drew Brandon Wallentine. I haven’t seen many bulls as rank as this before.

Short Go Leaders: 1. Matt Triplett, 88 on Arrow K’s 709 Sodbuster; 2. Matt Triplett, 87; 3. Zac Peterson, 80.5.
Average: 1. Matt Triplett, 166.5/2; 2. Matt Triplett, 163.5/2; 3. Zac Peterson, 162.5/2; 4. Kritter Lamb, 84.5/1; 5. Brandon Wallentine, 83/1; 6. Ryan Prophet, 79.5/1.
