The Last Call: Fort St. John, BC

It’s been a couple days now since the conclusion of the inaugural Daryl Mills PBR Invitational. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, that was one heck of a bull riding.

I had the chance to chat with Daryl after the event finished up to see what he thought about things went.

From our conversation here it looks like we will be seeing another event in the works for next year.

High Marked Bull

There were a whole pen of great bulls in Fort St. John. A ton of high bull scores were recorded as well. Stay tuned for those numbers over at www.ProBullStats.com in the next while.

In Sunday’s Championship Round Xtreme Bucking Bulls’ 706 Butterfly Effect scored 47 out of a possible 50 points here in the process, bucking off North Dakota’s Stetson Lawrence and having the highest marked bull score of the weekend.

Save of the Weekend

Monty Phillips, Ron Friesen and Brett Monea did a great job this weekend in keeping everyone out of harms way.

In Sunday’s Championship Round, Brett Monea got hit by Jesse Torkelson while Jesse scrambled away, Brett kept him out of the danger zone.

That’s the Last Call from this year’s Daryl Mills PBR Invitational in Fort St. John, BC.
