Coverchuk’s First PBR Canada Win in Paradise Valley Mud

Paradise Valley, AB: Cody Coverchuk won tonight’s Paradise Valley Bull-A-Rama in the rain. Scores of 85 and 83.5 led him past fellow Saskatchewan Bull Rider Tanner Byrne by a margin of about nine points.

The rain came down pretty hard at points, for how it was everyone rode real well. Crowd wise, the stands were darn near full which was very impressive for how nasty the weather was. Talk about some great fans. We have a great sport.

Thank you to the great people of Paradise Valley for putting on yet another great Professional Bull Riding event.

Coverchuk rode Sawyer’s Harrison Flats for the second highest score of the day at 85.

The Meadow Lake Bull Rider took on Wild Hoggs’ South of Heaven as the last man out. all he needed was a 76 point score to win the event. Cody did much better than that.

Highlighting Tanner Byrne’s evening was his 84.5 point score on Flying High’s Boy George.

Finishing in Third was Zane Lambert who was the first man to put two scores together. Rounding out the top four was North Dakota’s Nathan Schaper who rode Flying High’s Copenhagen Low Life who was perviously unridden before.

The biggest effort of the night has to go to Armando Davila who rode his bull with the tail of his rope for a few rounds.
