Lethbridge, AB: Devon Mezei stole the show tonight at the Enmax Center. Mezei rode the Calgary Stampede Bull Pawn Star to take the event lead with 177pts on two head. Aaron Roy sits in second not far behind. Saturday night marks the second round of the Bridge City Chrysler/LA Towing PBR Challenge. It starts at 7:30pm. This is the 3rd event of the 2012 PBR Canada Touring Pro Series and the 1st event on the 2012 3D Bullriding Tour.
The long round tonight started off with a bunch of great bull rides.
Last weekend’s event winner, Tyler Pankewitz was matched up again with the Girletz bull Cavity Search.
Ty Pozzobon rode a bull he owns half of by the name of Lost Wages. He is already on his way to Arlington, TX to compete tomorrow in Iron Cowboy III at Cowboy’s Stadium.

Devon Mezei tied Pozzobon to win the long go with this ride on the Sawyer bull Rumble Seat with an 87.
The short round was probably the best one to take place so far this year in the PBR in Canada in 2012.
Australia’s Brendon Clark started it off on the Girletz bull Cowboy’s Choice with this great 86.
2009 PBR Canadian Champ Beau Hill took on the Calgary Stampede bull Bombs Away next.

Two time PBR Candadian Champion Aaron Roy took on the PBR World Finals bull First Nation Sensation for a huge 88.5 point effort to more into the lead. Aaron competes tomorrow as well at the Iron Cowboy III event in Arlington, TX.
