Edgerton, AB: Jesse Torkelson wasn’t planning on riding at the Edgerton Bull-A-Rama last night.
“I entered late and took Pank’s spot after he had a rough night at Ranchman’s on Wednesday.” Jesse told, referring to “Pank”, his brother in law, Tyler Pankewitz.
As it turns out, Pank had a couple of good bulls drawn for Tork to get on.
In round one it was an 83.5 on the Wild Hoggs’ Bull Game On. In round two, it was a Thompson Bull called City Lights for an 86. No one else would match his total on two bulls.
“I have been feeling good and finally getting some confidence back after a long slump. I am excited about the rest of the summer. There are a lot of good rodeos and bull riding’s left.” Jesse finished.
With $10,000 in added prize money, Torkelson will be happy with his check. Adding to the $2,300 he won earlier in the week at Ranchman’s, it’s been quite a profitable week.
