Hillmond, SK: Zane Lambert keeps up his winning ways last night as he’s the first ever champion of the Wade Redden PBR Challenge presented by Crude Master Transport Inc.
Lambert rode Chris Hansen’s First Buckle for an 85.5 in the Short Go.
Zane too Ellie Skori’s Freightshaker to an 85 and second place in the Long Go.
2011 PBR Canadian Champion Tyler Thomson finished the event in second place with scores of 79 and 85.5 respectively in the Long Go and Short Go.
Aaron Roy had two similar scores of 78.5 and 85.5 to finish a half point behind and pick up some much needed money to count towards the PBR Canadian Standings.
Josh Birks tied for the win in the long go with a similar ride to his in Merritt on Prescott’s Pirate Style for an 85. Birks came down from his Short Go mount leaving him in a fourth place finish.
Brian Hervey rode Skori’s Smoke Ring for a nice 83.5 to pick up some money in the long go and round out the top five at the event.
Jesse Torkelson made a good ride on Two Bit’s Danger Ranger for an 83 to finish sixth and still pick up a little over $500.
