IN THE BULL PEN WITH JASON DAVIDSON: Abbotsford, BC

In the bull pen with Jason Davidson is a new feature that the PBR in Canada has added to their coverage from each event. This is the first edition it will be featured on the PBR’s Canadian Cup Series. It was released earlier today on www.PBRCanada.com

Sevi Torturo vs. GRS527 Diego
Coming off a win at the Winnipeg Invitational, just 2 weeks ago, Sevi has been matched up against PBR Canada Finals Bull #527 Diego of the Girletz herd. Torturo will have his hands full with this draw as Diego was marked 44pts a few weeks ago against current Canadian points leader Chad Besplug, bringing him to the ground before the 8 second whistle in the Championship round in Winnipeg.

Chad Besplug vs. SKRI22 Festus
Besplug is likely physically and mentally as fit as he has been in his professional career. He bucked off 2x PBR Canada Bucking Bull of the Year VJV Slash in the Championship round in Edmonton this past weekend. A solid rider, Besplug covered past Canadian and World Rookie champion bull Unabomber at the CTP event in Vermillion AB Feb 17th. I expect Chad to handle this young Elli Skori bull with ease in Abbotsford Friday night.

Brendon Clark vs. CYRC833 Kyle Style
This is a bull born in British Columbia, and raised there by owner Ted Marchand of Vernon. Stock Contractor Marchand claims Kyle Style is the most consistent bull in his promising young herd. Clark will be looking to add to his 3rd place finish in Winnipeg and catapulting himself back on to the PBR Built Ford Tough Series with this ride. Canada was Brendan’s Clark’s first stop of his PBR career 10 years ago, where he dominated at 4 events and has been a fixture in the televised US Based Built Ford Tough series since. This matchup is slated to be a crowd pleaser.
