Lozier Leads After Night One in Wanham

Beau Hill started it off on the Vold Bull Smoke and a Pancake

 

Jared Farley made this great ride to take the lead not long after on Vold’s new black spinner Fakin’ It

 

Two Time PBR Canada Champion Aaron Roy was next on Girletz’ Diego

 

Ty Pozzobon drew up against a bull he owns himself that’s hauled by the Wild Hoggs. He’d rode him once before for an 87 back in Lethbridge, AB in March. The bull’s name is Lost Wages.

 

Kyle Lozier on his second bull of the night already, rode the Sawyer Bull Jiminy Hou.

 

As a re-ride to round out the Long Go, Zane Lambert took on Girletz’ Diego.

Ty Pozzobon kicked things off on Braithwaite’s Rock of Ages

 

Montana’s Beau Hill got the first score on the board on Wild Hoggs’ South of Heaven

 

Vold’s Cool Valley impressed a ton of people over in Prince Albert in April. He threw off Scott Schiffner there as well. The bull was marked 46 points on this occasion.

 

Zane Lambert took on Braithwaite’s Jackson James next.

 

BC’s Kyle Lozier and the number one man in the CPRA took the lead and the overall lead by riding the big yellow Vold bull Turn me Down.

 

Aaron Roy didn’t make the whistle on the Girletz Bull Krack Back Jack who’s been unridden this year as far as we know and looked very impressive all the way.

 

As the long round leader, Jared Farley of Australia rode last. He took on the red muley of the Vold’s called Little Bit of Sugar.

 

In the Short Round, here’s how things ended up.

  1. Kyle Lozier 87.5 on 33 Turn Me Down – Vold
  2. Beau Hill 84.5 on 747 South of Heaven – Wild Hoggs

 

After night one, Kyle Lozier is in the lead. If he stays on top of the event, he will face the Vold/Triangle X Bull Slash for a shot at $20,000.
