’09 PBR Canada Champ Owns Night One in Abbotsford

Abbotsford, BC: 2009 PBR Canada Champion Beau Hill of West Glacier, MT walked away the winner of the first round of competition here at the Abbotsford Invitational PBR Canadian Cup Series Event. Night two runs tonight at 7:30. The ground was pretty wet and a bit deep so the bulls were a bit slower than usual but it turned out to be a great event as usual.

It all started off with Matt Triplett taking on the Vold bull Bomb Diggity:

Brendon Clark rode not long after on the Marchand Bull Kyle Style working his way back to the PBR’s Built Ford Tough Series:

Beau Hill took on the Vold bull Kin Deadly in the second section

BC’s own Kyle Lozier impressed a home province crowd on the Two Bit Bull Karate Kid:

Cody Moore of Houston, BC  made a solid ride on Skori’s Smoke Ring to take second place on the night and make his way back to the shoot out.

The top two riders last night faced off in the shoot out where the rider with the top score taking home a $1,500 bonus. At the end of the long go those two riders facing off were BC native Cody Moore and Montana’s Beau Hill.

Cody started it off on the Girletz bull Evander.

Since Cody bucked off, all Beau needed to do was make the whistle, however he did much more than that with this big ride on the Vold bull Little bit of Sugar.
