Las Vegas, NV: This was published earlier this evening. Everything was right except for the score! “The Bull of the Year and Canadian Finals Rodeo of the Kesler’s, Whiskey Jack has teamed up with Cody Teel. Cody had four 90 point scores this year according to ProBullStats.com. I bet he rides him tonight for another 90 and wins the round.”
Cody came through the media room a minute ago and said this of the great Kesler Bull “I’d never seen him before but after talking to some of the guys they said he was a good one to have. They said he’d be out there a couple and around to the right and he did just that.” It couldn’t have worked out any better for either side.
Lindsay Sears won herself another $10,895 to add to her 2012 earnings with her 13.76 second run in the fastest round of Barrel Racing yet. That moves her to $156,491 on the season to sit her in third place, approximately $30,000 behind leader Brittany Pozzi. The story of the weekend yet though is Mary Walker winning her third round in a row and moving herself within $4,500 of first place.
In the Saddle Bronc, Wade Sundell had a re-match with the Harvey Northcott horse he won the $100,000 at the Calgary Stampede on this summer, Get Smart. It went well, 85 points got Sundell a $10,895 check. Lunatic Party of the Outlawbuckers’ took Cody Taton to an 83.5 point score and a fourth place finish. American Trip, also an Outlawbuckers’ horse helped Matt Bright get a split of 3rd to 5th in the Bareback.
