The biggest winner of the weekend was Tyrel Larsen who currently sits seventh in the PRCA’s World Standings. A tie for third in Laughlin, NV and a second place check in Oakdale, CA was worth over $3,300 for him to bring his season total to over $25,000.
Fellow bronc rider Sam Kelts tied for third with Larsen in Laughlin with an 83 to earn $1,634 there. Kelts sits 10th in the Standings with nearly $11,000 won on the year.
Bareback Riders Clint Laye and Kyle Bowers did well between Oakdale and Medicine Hat. Laye was second in Oakdale with an 85 to win $1,565 while Bowers tied for 5th for $363. Earlier in the week before a big drive Kyle took third for $754 to make his weekend worth more than $1,000.
