Las Vegas, NV: I was able to meet up with CrAsh Cooper and Raymond Goodman from the Calgary Stampede tonight before the rodeo. I’ve got to do some work with the videos from Raymond but I will have them up soon.
Well I’m not going to lie, I think Kaycee Field may have got an extra point in the Bareback Riding tonight. On his re ride he was 85 on the Big Stone horse Gold Dust from Canada. I thought it may have ended the other night after he beat Steven Dent in the round when Steven made an outstanding 89.5 point ride and Kaycee came around on a much weaker horse in my opinion to get a point higher. All of this is in my opinion though and it’s how things go sometimes. Not much we can do about it! Kaycee is probably going to be the World Champion this year and he has earned it. He’s rode better than anyone so congratulations it’s well deserved.
Taos Muncy won the round tonight in the saddle bronc riding. He has the chance to join the club of only a couple other people to ever win the World Championship and the Canadian Championship in the same year.
Lindsay Sears makes up some serious ground tonight by winning the Barrel Racing tonight she is now within one round’s top paycheck of Brittany Pozzi who leads the world standings. Lindsay is 3 places ahead of Brittany in the average. She also makes up some time in the average and is just 10/100ths behind Sheri Cervi.

I like Shane Proctor to be the first bull rider I’ve ever seen cover Skippy’s Fine Line of Kelly Armstrongs and I see Wade Sundell getting a bunch on Galliant Warrior of Calgary’s and Jason Haven’s cashing a check at the end of tomorrow with a ride on Nightmare Rocket also of Calgary’s.
