MAGRATH, Alberta — Thursday night marks the fourth edition of the Celebration for the Two Bit Nation.
It’s also the second-last PBR Canada Touring Pro Division stop of the 2018 season and the last one that counts towards the 2018 PBR World Standings. With only four events remaining including the Monster Energy Tour stops in Edmonton and Abbotsford ahead of the National Finals in Saskatoon, we are down to crunch time.
Not only will the riders be competing but the bulls compete in a Classic event sanctioned by ABBI Canada.
It’s not every day you’ll see the top bulls in the country all in someone’s backyard. The likes of Buck Nasty from James Foley will be in attendance in the Championship Round along with ranch-raised favorites Catch My Drift and Happy Camper from event host Two Bit Bucking Bulls.
Tickets are $25 at the gate and it all gets going at 7:00pm.

Jared Parsonage vs. 1-417 Muddy Water
Jared has been having himself another great season in both PBR and Pro Rodeo competition. As the regular season coming close to its end J-Roc is sitting well inside the Top 10 of the PBR Canada National Standings. He has drawn probably my favourite bulls going down the road right now, Muddy Water comes from the Carlier family down Medicine Hat way. This bull should be right in the door to the left which is advantage Jared. If everything lines out we could see a long round win here.
Dakota Louis vs. 390 Pop the Latch
It is always good to see Dakota on this side of the 49th. He has been one of the more consistent guys over the past few years. He is matched up with Pop the Latch from the Wild Hoggs crew, we have seen a lot of this bull so far this season and he has been great every out. His usual trip is out around to the left which should be no problem for Dakota.
Nick Tetz vs. X313 Hell’s Bells
Lil Nick has been on quite the tear the past few weeks. After a 2-for-2 effort at the Glen Keely Memorial last weekend he now finds himself in the No. 7 position in the national standings. Nick will be looking to keep it rolling tomorrow night against Hell’s Bells. This bull comes from Slimothy Wilson and family, he has been rode twice in four outs so far in his career and Nick will be looking to add his name to that list.
Cody Casper vs. 676 Black Sheep
Mr. Casper is having a pretty darn good season on both sides of the border, he is in the Top 80 in the PBR World Standings which is no small feat. He is matched up against Black Sheep from the Two Bit crew, this is the bulls home turf so he should be feeling good on a Thursday night. As tough as Cody rides this should be a pretty darn good matchup.
