HOUSTON, Texas — Three Canadians advanced to the semifinals of RodeoHouston from the first bracket of competition.

Cody Cassidy, Jake Watson, and Layton Green are set to compete in the semifinals after a successful super series. Cassidy picked up checks worth $3,000, Watson earned $2,000 and Green takes home $6,000 USD after a pair or round wins.

Bareback riders Kody Lamb, Luke Creasy and Kyle Bowers did not advance.

On Friday night, 2015 RodeoHouston champ Zeke Thurston earned a check for $1,500 on a Calgary Stampede horse, Mad Money, for a split of second. Tyrel Larsen is back on the trail and earned $750 for fourth place on day one of the second Super Series.
