Patriotism is easily one of the themes at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, with Old Glory taking centre stage before each and every performance.
While Canada’s Orin Larsen is hoping to cash in for a bit more in winnings, it was the horse that took home the win as Calgary Stampede’s Xplosive Skies took home bareback horse of the night.
Calgary’s Reckless Margie showed Jessy Davis some of the horsepower coming out of Canada in 2016 during the fifth round of competition at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
But in the Bareback Riding there was no one better than Jake Vold, again eclipsing the field with an 89 point score atop Hi Lo ProRodeo’s Wilson Sanchez.
