Eight Canadians Qualify for San Antonio Semifinals

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Eight Canadians have qualified for the semifinals of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo over the next four nights.

Having qualified are: Clay Elliott and Curtis Cassidy from Bracket 1; Orin Larsen and Zeke Thurston from Bracket 2; Clint Laye from Bracket 4 with Luke Creasy, Scott Guenthner and Sam Kelts from the fifth and final bracket.

The first of two semifinals begins on Tuesday and concludes on Wednesday night. The second semifinals goes on Thursday and Friday. Those with the most money won through bracket competition and the semis qualify for Saturday night’s finals.

Luckily, for those interested, our friends from the Wrangler Network will be live streaming every remaining performance from the highest paying PRCA Rodeo of the season.

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has grown to one of the largest, most prestigious single events in the city of San Antonio. With over two-million visitors entering the grounds each year, success is attributed to over 6,000 volunteers who give countless hours to the organization. This year’s Wrangler Network live stream will feature several days of events, including the San Antonio PRCA Semi Finals Rodeo, PRCA Xtreme Bulls, and the PRCA Rodeo Finals.
