2019 Calgary Stampede Live Radio Broadcast

CALGARY, Alberta — The Chuckwagon Radio Network and Meridian Manufacturing are proud to bring back four days of broadcasting at the 2019 Calgary Stampede.

Broadcasts are on both weekends, July 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th starting at 1:00 p.m. MST.

The Calgary Stampede, ͞The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, was established in 1912 by Guy Weadick, to showcase top cowboy talent and entertainment. More than one hundred years later, it is still the largest western exhibition and stampede on the planet. The World’s Richest Tournament Style Rodeo features the very best competitors in today’s fast-paced sport of rodeo.

There are six main events that happen daily including: ladies barrel racing, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, bareback, saddle bronc, and bull riding. The excitement builds over the ten days of action towards rodeo’s richest afternoon, and with more than $2 million up for grabs, anything can happen!

The CRN broadcast radio team, has broadcast the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) for over 10 years and consists of long-time Broadcast Announcer Tim Ellis, Co-Host & Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Duane Daines, special guests with Executive Producer Jamie Tiessen.

Our crew provides listeners with all of the excitement of the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Showdown Sunday in a live broadcast that holds the listener’s attention, and captivates audiences that want to experience the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede, and find out who will ride away with the 2019 championship titles and $100,000 bonus cheques.
