STAVELY, Alberta — This year’s Stavely Pro Rodeo was a rough one on bull riders Casey Berg and Zane Lambert.

Berg got in this wreck a day after Lambert was flown to Calgary by Stars the night before. He returned to competition for a month but is back out again due to a broken scaphoid and injured thumb.

The reactions tell the story in this video I think. I think it’s scary to watch back but the incredible thing is that two months later Zane returned to the arena at the Calgary Stampede and made his way to Sunday to compete for $100,000. If Canada didn’t have so many other wins, and if I would have remembered, Zane would have been on that side of the countdown too. I’m glad you’re back man. Here’s to another Canadian title or two in 2017!
