Delburne, AB: These are a few of the bulls and match-ups to watch for Friday’s Hillbilly Stomp Elite Professional Bullriders Bull Riding this Friday Night at the Delburne arena on September 7th, 2012.
People have asked a bunch this summer “What’s that bull?” So I figured it’d be a good thing to start that’s original when featuring these match-ups.
Let me know what you think below in a comment and if you’ve got a better name don’t be afraid to share it too!
For now, here’s what I’ve got. Share your thoughts and tell me if I’m off my rocker too. A bit of controversy and talk is good!
Kyle Wallgren vs. FHRC834 I’m a Trouble Maker – Kyle has been having a good year for himself and has got a great bull drawn here Friday Night. I’m a Trouble Maker is average sized black horned bull that will spin either way in the gate. Wallgren has got to ride right to get this one covered but he knows what needs to be done as Gary Leffew taught him. Tanner Girletz was gonna be a pile of points on this one in the Short Go in Kinsella in July. On the way home that day he said this bull felt a heck of a lot like I’m a Gangster when he got on him a few years back.
Cody Stamp vs. SWYR77 Jiminy Hou – I’m not sure when Cody got on last but he always gave it his all when I saw him go. This might be his first one back after a while off too since it’s the town he’s from. Look for a big hometown crowd behind Mr. Stamp. The bull he’s drawn is just right. Kyle Lozier rode Jiminy Hou in Wanham, AB in June for an 85. I bet Cody rides him just as Kyle did for around the same score.
Josh Birks vs. SWYR866 Bucket List – Josh Birks can probably ride any bull in Canada. As he showed us all on Saturday past in Satevly up against VJV Slash for the highest marked bull ride up here in 2012. This former Eno /Kubinchak bull is now owned by Curtis Sawyer who again, is not related to Nansen Vold to clear things up. Zane Lambert rode Bucket list for an 83 with his vest wide open in Coronation a couple weeks ago. I bet Josh does the same thing and even spurs him a time or two.
Garrett Green vs. RGS17 Uncle Moe – Talking about spurring, Garrett Green is quite good at it. My bet is he spurs this Rafter G Cattle Company Bull all the way to the Short Go and the pay window. Uncle Moe is a real nice softer footed muley that gets rode more than not by the good riders. Nate Gardner has got one that the guys like to get on here and Garrett will get along good with him too. Ty Patten rode Uncle Moe for an 80.5 in Ponoka in June and that’s the last tape I’ve got really of someone riding him.
See you all in Delburne this Friday Night at 6:30pm!
