Roy, Besplug and Ephrom Compete Tonight in Billings, MT

Billings, MT: After his past week where he won over $10,000 at two PBR events, Chad Besplug made the PBR’s Built Ford Tough Series Cut this week. That means he will be a member of the tour for a minimum of the next five events.

Aaron Roy continues to be in the top 30 in the World Standings and will compete this weekend. He needs to keep making some rides to start there. Dusty Ephrom was cut from the tour this week, but was invited to compete this week in Billings as an alternate.

You can see the three of them compete tonight in Billings Live on YouTube at the link below.

I’ll highlight how  our Canadians do as the weekend progresses. Hopefully we see some big things come from them all! Ty Pozzobon will be taking this weekend off to let his knee heal up. He plans to return next week in Boise, Idaho.

The Elite Professional Bull Riders have a busy weekend starting tonight as well in Alix, AB. Tomorrow night they travel to Kimberly, BC to compete for $4,000 in added prize money.

Check back here this weekend for results and a video or two from those events!

On another note, Bryn Roy, son of World Champion Steer Wrestler Mark Roy was drafted yesterday by the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL. Check out the full story from the Calgary Herald through the link below.
