Ponoka, AB: I was able to make my way down to Ponoka, AB this past Saturday night to the Professional Roughstock Corp’s First ever finals in the new Ponoka Ag Center. The new arena there in Ponoka is the nicest rodeo arena I have ever been to. Here’s what I saw Saturday night though and was able to tape well:

Jordyn Robinson 82 points on Herf at the PRC Finals in the new Ponoka Ag Center Sept 10, 2011

When I get a better camera and someone to tape each event I’ll have footage of more events than just the bull riding. All I have used so far is my phone’s camcorder.

The overall champions of the first ever Professional Roughstock Corp’s Finals were a talented three contestants.

College All Around Champion Ky Marhsall took home the Bareback Riding Championship and his new Irvine Tack & Trailers Saddle.

Many time WRA, LRA and FCA Champion and Finalist Mark O’Dempsey won the Saddle Bronc Riding and his share of the $10,000 in prize money.

And in the bull riding the now two time CFR Qualifier Beau Brooks came out on top. Beau is currently second in the CPRA Year End Standings with only two regular season rodeos left.

The 2012 PRC Season will likely start this fall or spring in Olds, AB. Check out their website at: www.ProfessionalRoughstockCorp.com
