zzzThe month of February has already been a great one and it’s only going to get better! I started the month off with a busy weekend. It began bright and early in Airdrie at Bluegrass Nurseries for Groundhog Day. I joined Miss Rodeo Airdrie as we watched Balzac Billy wake up and predict an early spring!1653956_208697242660720_71522362_n

Right after the Groundhog Day event in Airdrie I was headed north to Red Deer. Four Miss Rodeo Canada Alumni and I took part in the With This Ring… Bridal Gala, modelling the latest in bridesmaids and wedding dresses! I had an amazing time taking part in the two fashions shows.

The following week I was off to Edmonton for the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies Convention. During the afternoon, Miss Rodeo Airdrie and I took in the trade show and the many booths, including interacting with some reptiles. That evening I had the opportunity to meet Premier Alison Redford, the Minister of Agriculture, Verlyn Olson, and many other government dignitaries.zz
Next stop: Kissimmee, Florida for the Silver Spurs Rodeo!

Happy Trails,

Nicole Briggs
