CPRA Travels to Grande Prairie & Bonnyville, AB This Week

Grande Prairie & Bonnyville, AB: The CPRA travels this weekend to both of these cities this weekend. It will be the biggest weekend on the trail this far. We will see a number of changes in the standings come Monday due to the amount of money to be won this weekend.

Grande Prairie got underway last night for their first performance under the lights at 9:00pm after the WPCA Chuckwagons. There was also a slack performance at 9:00am. I’m working on tracking down the results as we speak.

All that I know thus far is that Chet Johnson and Luke Butterfield are tied for the Saddle Bronc Riding lead with matching 78 point efforts.

After talking on the phone with Ty Hamaker he said that Tyler Willis currently leads the Bull Riding at 82.5 points.

What I know will be posted as it comes in. I’m working on getting updates lined up from Bonnyville this weekend as well to keep everyone in the loop. If you will be there and will be getting any videos they would be greatly appreciated as well. Leave us a comment below with the link to them or tell us who’s winning where you are!

On another CPRA note, the CPRA & Fronteir Western Shop have reached a marketing and distribution agreement that will put them into a partnership.

Curtis Anderson’s Courage Canada Trail Ride takes place this Saturday as well over in Innisfree, AB. For more information on that check out Curtis’ website at www.CacCanada.com

See you all down the trail!
