Repeat Winners on Fourth Last Weekend of 2013 CPRA Season

Calgary, AB: Matt Lait, Todd Chotowetz and Stacy Cornet all won twice on the fourth last weekend of the 2013 Canadian Pro Rodeo Season.

For Bareback Rider Matt Lait it was wins in Jasper and Cranbrook to pick up just over $2,000 in prize money and move himself over that $20,000 mark for the season. This money helps him out in the PRCA World Standings too.

Bull Rider Todd Chotowetz is nearly out of the race for the 40th Anniversary of the Canadian Finals Rodeo but he hasn’t packed it in yet. An outright win in Jasper with an 88 and a tie for the win in Pincher Creek gave him over $2,500 in winnings in just a few days.

Stacy Cornet can strap on two new buckles this weekend as he won both the Tie Down Roping and Team Roping at the Jasper Heritage Days Rodeo. The $1,090 in the Team Roping in Jasper adds to his already $8,500 won on the season to move him up a couple places in the Canadian Standings well within the bottom of the CFR pool.
